Never Give Up

…even if they say you’re “just an addict.”
…even if they claim you can’t be trusted.
…even if they look at you like you’re different.
…even if they make you feel less than human.
…even if the stereotyping is founded in ignorance.
…even if the animosity causes you to struggle.
…even if you know the label is BULLSHIT.

NEVER…
…GIVE…
… … UP … …

You know you better than they. Prove them wrong. Live your recovery without fail, without falter, without the lies of an unfounded stereotype.

You are different. You are success. You are … worth it.

Lead Us From Darkness …

ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय ।
तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय ।
मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय ।
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥

Om Asato Ma Sad-Gamaya |
Tamaso Ma Jyotir-Gamaya |
Mrtyor-Ma Amrtam Gamaya |
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti ||

Om, Lead us from Unreality (of Transitory Existence) to the Reality (of Self),
Lead us from the Darkness (of Ignorance) to the Light (of Spiritual Knowledge),
Lead us from the Fear of Death to the Knowledge of Immortality.
Om Peace, Peace, Peace.

You Found Me

Everybody want to know
Why I’m walking around with a big smile on my face
Damn, I’m happy and it shows
Glad I’m back and I’m fond of the of the human race
Cuz, ya know, I’ve been down so long
Never thought I’d ever feel this way again
And everything was going wrong
Til you found me and you made me believe again

He’s going the distance

In times of loss, it is best to look back and reflect. Do not blame. Do not dismiss your own responsibility. Do not burn bridges.

Embrace what you have learned. Embrace the greatness that was while it was still good.

If all you have is anger and resentment, this plotting of a course for revenge, then you have learned nothing and perhaps you are no “better” than the one who “abandoned” us.

Don’t be all alone in a time of need.

Good evening, Moon Lady.

“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching,
Love like you’ll never be hurt,
Sing like there’s nobody listening,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.”
William W. Purkey
